The Cable Television Advisory Committee (CTAC) was created for the express purpose of advising the City Council on matters related to cable television.  The Committee consists of seven members appointed by the City Council, one from each City Council district.  Members serve a three year term.  Any vacancy shall be filled by the City Council for the remainder of the term.  The Committee selects from among its members a chair and secretary by majority vote.  The Committee meets the second Monday of every month, unless changed or cancelled by vote of the Committee.  For more information on cable television and CTAC, please see Omaha Municipal Code Chapter 19, Article XII, beginning with Section 19-393.
