  The Cable Television Access Corporation (CTAC) is organized and shall be operated exclusively for public civic purposes. The purposes for which the corporation is organized include to: (a) organize and administer cable television channels for public, educational and governmental programming; (b) advise the Omaha City Council on policy and other matters relating to the provision of cable television in Omaha; (c) resolve disagreements between any cable television franchisee and subscribers or users of the Omaha cable television system, subject to review by the City Council; (d) promote and encourage use of access cable television channels; (e) develop public access programming and appropriate novel uses of the cable television system; (f) apply for and receive contributions, grants, donations and funds of all types from individuals, organizations, government agencies and other interest groups to support these purposes; and (g) perform such other duties as may be assigned by the City Council.  To carry out such purposes, the corporation shall have all of the powers granted by Sections 21-1928 to 21-1929, inclusive, R.R.S. Neb. 2007, as now or hereafter amended, all powers granted by any subsequent statutory authorization, and such powers and rights not otherwise denied nonprofit corporations by the laws of the State of Nebraska which are necessary, proper, advisable, or convenient for the accomplishment of such purposes, including the developent of rules and procedures and the employment of personnel.  The corporation is not organized for profit. The corporation shall have no capital stock. No part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of any director or officer of the corporation or any other private person or entity. Upon dissolution, corporation shall convey all its assets without consideration to the City of Omaha, Nebraska, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.  For more information on CTAC and to view the current programming schedule, click here.  Information to Producers and Release Form: click here.
