- (Q) What is the process for removal of abandoned vehicles?
- (A) The information is sent to the appropriate police precinct. The precinct’s response time is 7 to 14 days; these reports are done in between the officer’s normal workload and it may take 3 weeks. The following information is requested for abandoned vehicle reports: make and model of vehicle, color and license plate number.

- (A) Vehicles must be moved every 48 hours; Vehicles must be legally parked; Vehicles cannot be driven or parked over sidewalks, curbs, or medians.
