Rick started his position as the City of Omaha’s Planning Director on July 31, 2009.
The major functions of the Omaha Planning Department include: Current and Future Planning for the City; Housing and Community Development (including Code Enforcement) and Building and Development (permitting and inspection).
Rick’s goal for the Planning Department is to provide effective and efficient services leading to a safe, desirable and vibrant city responsive to the needs of our citizens.
