Weeds & Litter
Chapter 18, Article 3 of the Omaha Municipal Code states:
It shall be unlawful for the owner, agent, occupant or other person in possession, charge or control of any lot or ground in the city, or portion thereof, except for the Douglas County Land Reutilization Commission and the City of Omaha, to do either of the following:
- Permit, allow or maintain any growth of noxious weeds, grass or other worthless vegetation 12 inches or more in height.
- Litter or cause to allow litter to be deposited thereon or to remain thereon, except in proper receptacles as provided in chapter 33 of this Code.
