Marina Enterprise Meeting Recap
Following is a recap of the meeting held on January 14, 2012, for NP Dodge Marina and Lake Cunningham Marina slip holders--
Damages to City of Omaha Parks during the flood of 2011 are estimated at $6,000,000 to $8,000,000. Over $2,000,000 of that amount occurred at the NP Dodge and Riverfront Marinas. We are working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to document all damages so a portion of costs to restore the marina can be recovered.
The City of Omaha Parks Department is moving forward to get repairs made as quickly as possible. Our goal is to open for the 2012 boating season. To learn about Plans and Schedules for Repairs click here.
Below are copies of the 2012 contract agreement for NP Dodge and Lake Cunningham Marinas. Marina slip holders will receive a contract and invoice in the mail in the near future. The deadline for payment will be noted on the invoice. A new fee schedule is also included below. After reviewing feedback following Saturday’s meeting, the fee schedule reflects a flat $262 increase per slip for 2012. Flood repair expenses and reimbursements will be reviewed annually and an adjustment in slip fees will be made as necessary.
