Glenn Cunningham Lake
Cunningham Campground is located at 8305 Rainwood Road. All spaces are available on a first come basis. Fees will be paid in advance at the campground kiosk, only cash payments are accepted. The Campground will open for the season on April 14th, 2012.
The 390 acre lake is surrounded by more than 1,050 acres of park land in north central Omaha. The lake project opened to the public in 1977. Visitors enjoy picnicking, no-wake boating, hiking and bicycling on asphalt trails, nature study opportunities and fishing. Horseback riding is permitted on designated trails. The lake is a popular spot for windsurfing. There is a 7 day total limit in a 30 day period. This limit applies to Cunningham and N.P. Dodge as one park.
