Planning and Construction Home
The parks Planning Division is responsible for managing the design and implementation of new projects in our parks, recreation facilities and boulevards including:
- Designing park improvement projects including trails, sports facilities, picnic areas, playgrounds, and landscaping
- Overseeing construction of park improvements
- Coordinating park building design and construction projects
- Meeting with the public to solicit input of new projects
- Working with neighborhoods and donors to implement privately financed park projects
- Managing the development of studies and long range plans including the Park Rehabilitation Master Plan, Pool Plan, and Tennis Court Survey
