The Building Board of Review is a seven-member board that has the authority to approve waivers of the city's building codes, review decisions of the Superintendent of Permits and Inspections, and hear appeals related to the enforcement of the International Property Maintenance Code. 

This board also makes recommendations relative to the adoption of construction codes and other provisions relative to the administration of the permits and inspections functions of the city.  This board meets the second Monday of each month.
