2010 Community Development Week Awards Print

Five organizations were recently recognized by Mayor Suttle for their chilhood lead poisoning prevention efforts.  These organizations included the Lead Safe Omaha Coalition, the UNL Douglas/Sarpy County Extension Office, Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance, the Douglas County Health Department, and NeighborWorks Omaha. 

Awards were presented on April 8, 2010 at the Community Development Week Awards Ceremony.  These organizations were also recognized by Nebraska Govenor Dave Heineman on April 6, 2010 at the Nebraska State Capital.  Congratulations to all.
