The Concord Square Neighborhood |
This project involved the construction 44 housing units in the North Omaha neighborhood known as Concord Square. The majority of these units were purchased by low and moderate-income home buyers whose annual household income was at or below 80% of the Median Family Income. Some higher income homeowners have invested in the development bringing a mix of incomes to the neighborhood. Funded with a combination of public (CDBG and HOME) and private funds.Â
Also included in this initiative was the construction of 21 multi-family rental units and a community room for low and moderate-income elderly families (with one unit occupied by a resident manager). Funding for this project involved public funds in the form of CDBG dollars and a Section 202 Loan along with a cash contribution from the developer. |
