The Concord Square Neighborhood Print

This project involved the construction 44 housing units in the North Omaha neighborhood known as Concord Square.  The majority of these units were purchased by low and moderate-income home buyers whose annual household income was at or below 80% of the Median Family Income.  Some higher income homeowners have invested in the development bringing a mix of incomes to the neighborhood.  Funded with a combination of public (CDBG and HOME) and private funds.

Also included in this initiative was the construction of 21 multi-family rental units and a community room for low and moderate-income elderly families (with one unit occupied by a resident manager).  Funding for this project involved public funds in the form of CDBG dollars and a Section 202 Loan along with a cash contribution from the developer.
