Stockyards Business Park Print

This project transformed Omaha’s abandoned stockyard complex into a business park and residential center, turning a several acre eyesore into what is now an attractive area for living and working.

The centerpiece of this initiative involved the renovation of the historic Livestock Exchange Building into 102 residential units, two ballrooms, and 40,000 square feet of commercial space.

The residential units are occupied by families whose annual incomes are at 60% and below of the Median Income by Family Size.

Surrounding the Livestock Exchange Building and completing the business park are a variety of businesses and small manufacturing companies.

This project was funded by a combination of public and private dollars, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historical Tax Credits, and an equity contribution from the developer.
