The South Omaha Business District (SOBD) is the colorful, lively business center for South Omaha.  The SOBD is generally located between L Street and Q Street along South 24th Street.  HCD created a street scape along this corridor which is both attractive and functional.  The architectural features shown in the pictures below insulate pedestrians from the busy traffic along South 24th Street while not alienating them from the environment.

The Tree of Life is located at the southeast corner of South 24th Street and L Street in the South Omaha Business District.
