The Druid Hill Redevelopment Area (also known as the 33rd and Spaulding Redevelopment Area) is an approximately 8.8 acre site in northeast Omaha bounded by Spaulding Street to the north, a vacated railroad line to the east, an alley south of Manderson Street to the south, and 34th Avenue to the west.

The Druid Hill Area Redevelopment Plan  proposes the construction of approximately 16 single-family and 2 multi-family residences.  The homes will be built on formerly vacant land and on lots previously occupied by substandard housing which has been demolished.

Events of Note:

  • The redevelopment plan for this area was completed in March, 2004.
  • An environmental assessment for this project was completed in November, 2004.
