This Second Renaissance Revival style building was designed by architect Thomas Kimball, considered by many to be Nebraska’s premier architect.

It was built in 1907 for Packer’s National Bank, an organization with strong ties to the Omaha stockyards. Established in 1891 Packer’s National Bank paralleled the growth of South Omaha and its livestock trade.

Many of the bank’s early officers were executives in the meat packing industry. In 1984 the building was renovated for use as offices and apartments.
