This school building was named for Edward Rosewater, founder of the Omaha Bee newspaper and organizer of the Omaha School District and its board of education. Designed by Omaha architect Frederick W. Clarke, Rosewater School is a fine example of the Second Renaissance Revival style of architecture. The school was renovated for use as apartments in 1985.
