Adopted HVAC/ACAD Licensing and Apprenticeship

The Omaha City Council has approved the amendment to Article II, Chapter 40 of the Omaha Municipal Code. This proposal will expand the license requirements for individuals who perform ACAD/HVAC work.The code will require licensing of Journeyman ACAD workers and the registration of Apprentices. The proposal also includes minimum requirements for licensure.

Final version  approved by City Council.

 

ELECTRICAL CODE CHANGES

City of Omaha approved code changes represent changes in licensing and the permit fee schedule, both of which are planned to be implemented January I, 2010.
