40 CFR 63 Subpart XXXXXX (Nine Subpart 6X) covers nine metal fabrication and finishing categories with the potential to emit metal HAPs:
- Electric & Electronic Finishing
- Fabricated Metal Products
- Fabricated Plate Work (Boiler Shops)
- Fabricated Structural Metal
- Heating Equipment (except electric)
- Industrial Machinery & Equipment
- Iron & Steel Forging
- Valves & Pipe Fittings
Requirements for this rule vary depending on which category or categories a facility’s operations fall into. Please see the EPA published flowchart below to determine which requirements your facility must meet.
