New or Noteworthy Street Closings or Restrictions

• Beginning Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Leavenworth Street will have one eastbound lane closed from 30^th Street to Park Avenue.  This restriction is due to street reconstruction and will be in effect until May 5, 2012. Extended until May 16, 2012.
• Beginning Monday, April 30, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 20^th Street will be closed to through traffic from Poppleton Avenue to Woolworth Avenue.  This closure is due to work for the C.S.O. Sewer Separation Project and will be in effect for three (3) weeks.

Update 

• Postponed until Monday, May 7, 2012  Beginning Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 60^th Street will be closed to through traffic from Leavenworth Street to Pacific Street.  This closure is due to the C.S.O. sewer separation project and will be in effect for five (5) weeks.

• Beginning Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., 108^th Street will have various lane restrictions for both northbound and southbound traffic from “L” Street to West Center Road.  These restrictions are due to concrete panel replacement and will be in effect for one (1) week.
• Beginning Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Pacific Street will have various lane restrictions for westbound traffic from 168^th Street to 180^th Street.  These restrictions are due to fiber optic cable installation and will be in effect for one (1) week.  The restrictions will be in place between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., daily.
• Beginning Friday, May 4, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., “L” Street will have various lane restrictions for eastbound and westbound traffic from 50^th Street to 60^th Street.  These restrictions are due to ADA ramp installations and will be in effect for two (2) weeks. 
• Beginning Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Ames Avenue will have 2 eastbound lanes closed, making traffic head-to-head in the westbound lanes, from 66^th Street to approximately 6800 Ames Avenue.  This restriction is due to sewer repair and will be in effect for one (1) week.
• Beginning Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Cuming Street will be closed to through traffic from 143^rd Street to 144^th Street.  This closure is due to a water main installation and will be in effect for one (1) week.
• Beginning Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Pacific Street will have an eastbound lane closed from Morrison Drive to Leawood Drive.  This restriction is due to turn bay and driveway construction and will be in effect for four (4) weeks.
• Beginning Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Abbott Drive will have various lane restrictions for northbound traffic from Carter Boulevard to 9^th Street.  These restrictions are due to curb and inlet repair and will be in effect for four (4) days.
• Beginning Monday, May 7, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., West Center Road will have one lane closed for both eastbound and westbound traffic from 67^th Street to 72^nd Street.  This restriction is due to inlet replacement and will be in effect for two (2) days.
• Beginning Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Pacific Street will have a westbound lane closed from 89^th Street to 90^th Street.  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect for two (2) weeks.
• Effective immediately, Hamilton Street will be closed to through traffic from 35^th Street to 36^th Street.  This closure is due to sewer repair and will be in effect for four (4) days.  (5.7.12)
• Effective immediately, Dodge Street will have a westbound lane closed from 67^th Street to 68^th Street.  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect for 2 to 3 days.  (5.7.12)
• Effective immediately, Cuming Street will have a westbound lane closed from 24^th Street to 25^th Street.  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect for one (1) day.  (5.7.12)
• Beginning Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., the intersection of 20^th Street & Poppleton Avenue will be closed to through traffic.  This closure is due to a C.S.O. sewer separation project and will be in effect for one (1) week.
• Beginning Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., the intersection of 66^th & Blondo Streets will have various lane restrictions in the intersection.  These restrictions are due to ADA ramp installation and will be in effect for one (1) week.
• Effective immediately, the intersection of 84^th & Cass Streets will have one lane closed for both southbound and westbound traffic in the intersection.  These restrictions are due to utility work and will be in effect for 2 to 3 days.  (5.9.12)
• Beginning Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., southbound Regency Parkway will have various lane restrictions from West Dodge Road to Pacific Street.  These restrictions are due to ADA ramp installations and will be in effect for ten (10) days.
• Beginning Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Center Street will have an eastbound lane closed from 49^th Street to 48^th Avenue.  This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect for 5 to 7 days.
