Traffic Maintenance

Traffic Maintenance personnel provide maintenance and repair of:

• traffic signals, pavement markings, street signs, barricade control and parking meter maintenance and collection.
• There are 1000 traffic signals, lane lights and flashers
• 880 miles of streets striped
• 110,000 traffic signs
• 3,300 parking meters
• 450 projects barricaded.

If there is an emergency situation (such as a malfunctioning traffic signal) please call 444-5160.  This number is answered 24 hours a day and emergency crews are on call to respond to any situation.
